In 2020, Chicago's Fortune Fish & Gourmet, purchased Empire Fish, along with our parent company, Neesvig’s, to provide even higher quality service and products for our customers. Given that Fortune has always had the same commitments to quality and sustainability as Empire, it was a perfect match. Since then, Fortune Fish & Gourmet operates the wholesale side of the company servicing hundreds of restaurants and food service providers throughout the region along with two Coastal Seafoods retail locations in the Twin Cities. Our new combined efforts allow us to offer even higher quality and more sustainable seafood options than ever before to customers all across the Midwest.
